Hihi! Welcome to my homepage! I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I was a member of Hatswitch Research Group, working with Prof. Nikita Borisov. I got my B.E. in Information Security from University of Science and Technology of China. I did internships at Microsoft Research Cambridge, VeriSign Labs, NEC Labs America, and Qualcomm.
My research interests are generally in security & privacy, networking & distributed systems, and machine learning. I am currently a Principal Research Engineer at Symantec Research Labs, working on security problems in emerging areas, such as Internet of Things (IoT), connected cars, smart home, etc. I am also a cryptocurrency enthusiast, interested in addressing security issues in cryptocurrency systems.
